Our Walk With Jesus

Have you ever been walking almost mindlessly and then you realize that you are uncertain of where you are? Maybe you had a lot on your mind or were distracted? Walking and not paying attention is dangerous, especially if the distraction is our phones. In one U.S. study it was discovered that on average, 11,000 pedestrians are injured with 5000 of them dying every year just by texting and walking. What is the problem? Were those injured and died new to walking? No, most of these people had learned to walk a long time ago! Were they unfamiliar to their surroundings? No, just the opposite! They were so familiar that they didn’t think they needed to pay attention to where they were going. So what was the problem? They were distracted! We too can get distracted in the spiritual life. Or sometimes we don’t even know where to begin. This is why this Sunday, Pastor Jason and I are going to walk us through our revamped discipleship pathway entitled Our Walk with Jesus. This will not only help you personally in your walk with Jesus, but help you as you walk with others and Jesus in making disciples.
