Outdoor Adventure Photography with Marisa Jarae

from Get In 2 Nature · host Scott & Casey

In this episode of the Get In 2 Nature podcast we interview Marisa Jarae. Marisa is an accomplished outdoor adventure photographer who is passionate about capturing people in the rugged elements of the mountains and nature. Most recently she was featured in “Out There Colorado” as one of the top 15 photographers in Colorado. I have found Marisa’s photos to have a unique ability to draw one into the moment of the photo.  She is also the co-founder of Rising Routes, an organization that exists for one reason: to bring people together. Rising routes goal is to normalize our differences and to shrink our ever deepening divide through adventure, common ground and celebrated individuality.  We were fortunate to catch Marisa before heading out to Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro!   In this episode of the Get-In-2-Nature podcast, we discuss with Marisa:  - Her connection and journey to becoming an established adventure photographer  - Her go to equipment for documenting her adventures while climbing in the mountains  - Her unique creative process for capturing fantastic photos that speak to the viewers  - The homework assignment she gave me to help prepare to take amazing photos on our Everest Base Camp trek  To learn more about Mirisa and view her amazing photos visit: Follow her on IG @marisajarae
