Today’s guest on Danger Close is a true outdoorsman and renaissance man. He is an award-winning outdoor writer, wildlife photographer, videographer, naturalist, wilderness guide and outfitter. He is the host of Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures, The Professionals, Uncharted, and Shock Therapy on the Outdoor Channel.    He owns several outfitting territories in Canada's wildlands, including the Pacific Rim Guide Territory on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and Rogue River Outfitting in the Yukon Territory. His work documenting wildlife has been widely recognized, and his television productions have won 15 Golden Moose Awards.
