We kick off this week's show talking deer hunting with Kevin Vistisen of the Deer Hunter Podcast. Kevin has details of his bow season harvest, the state of deer hunting in Michigan today and he has great advice for firearm season hunters. Scott Kietzman of Linwood Taxidermy is my first guest in hour 2. He talks about field prep for the taxidermist, different types of whitetail mounts and how to choose the right pose for a shoulder mount. Justin Tomei from MUCC is up next with reaction to the state elections and how that might affect hunters and anglers. Fishing icon Mark Martin is my guest in the third hour this week. Mark talks about fall fishing, including a recent catch of a monster musky. He also describes his love for deer hunting and compares it to walleye fishing. We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar and another great venison recipe.
