The physicist working in the lab at the time, [name redacted], observes what appears to be an extraterrestrial craft landing at the government site, being met by the on-base personnel. [Name redacted] has seen these types of landings before, as they were the actual, secret purpose of this military installation. Over time, [name redacted] started making a record of these otherworldly events as well as the reverse-engineering experiments based on UFO technology, which eventually led to their dismissal from the base in 1989. [Name redacted] began notice unmarked cars surveilling their residence, hearing strange clicks when they were on the phone, and other signs that the government was keeping tabs on them. Once [name redacted] took the plunge by making appearances on talk shows and radio broadcasts, revealing the presence of a government UFO program, those same entities initiated a smear campaign to discredit [name redacted] and ruin their life. The aftermath was [name redacted] being turned into a pariah in the scientific community as well as the world at large. 25 July 2020
