Mr B V Ramana Rao was the pioneer of the Sri Sathya Sai Sevadal movement, being among the earliest devotees to join as a sevadal and be guided by Bhagawan in shaping the activities of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India. He was involved in every major activity of the Sri Sathya Sai Mission since the sixties and was the National Service Coordinator of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations for decades and later also served as the Editor of Sanathana Sarathi (Telugu), the ashram monthly magazine.
