Outside The Valley Episode 106: Startup Weekend Rides To Town!

In every adventure there's a tipping point. That point is where something important teeters delicately on the brink. It could tip in the right direction ... or it could tip in the wrong direction, depending on what the heroes do.  Either way, a future hangs in the balance. This may be the case for Startup Weekend Dayton. Startup Weekend is riding fast and furious into the Dayton, OH area on May 9th - 11th, 2014. Though a bit of tech startup activity has been bubbling up consistently in the last year, this event could determine whether or not the region is really ready to energize a strong grass-roots tech startup movement. And Dave Best, a local programmer, is riding the lead stallion to bring this event to town. Dave and his team are working pretty damned diligently to make this initial effort a success.  Dave comes to Outside the Valley to converse about all things Startup Weekend.
