"In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” - John 16:33 Jesus gives us comfort and hope that even though we might have testing times and temptations , we have already got the authority and strength to overcome all challenges , because Jesus has already overcome the world and has given us the victory , we are overcomes in Christ Jesus our Lord .
