OVERCOME through PEACE! 3/10/26 Frame the Week with the Word

from Frame Your Week with the Word · host Sara Shallenberger

Jesus the Prince of Peace! Only God's people have the capacity to live at peace and carry supernatural peace. If we do not live that way, the world will never have a witness of Jesus, who IS the Prince of Peace. Also, we can only determine our side of the street. If others reject or hate us, we must allow them to make their own decisions, and stay at peace in our HEARTS towards them. It does not mean we are to continually try to restore a relationship, or even maintain one. Pray and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in what HE wants for each relationship with anyone else. Believers get to pray for people that disagree with us. We get to pray for our leaders, no matter who is in the White House. We are empowered to live in peace even and ESPECIALLY when that flies in the face of culture and politics, even church politics that feeds on division, hierarchy and hatred and rejection. Joseph served the people who imprisoned him. David fought against Goliath for the sake of his brothers who hated him. Moses laid down his life for a people who some of which never stopped grumbling against Him. Jesus laid down His life for those who would receive Him, and even for those who would ultimately reject Him. We are to be Jesus followers, not mimics of culture.
