I was 17 years old when I awoke from surgery to find that I was left completely blind. No shapes nor shadows, no light, no color, just blackness.One would have thought that my life was over. Everything I ever enjoyed was to be no more. Every dream or hope for the future was taken away. Everything in my life was taken from me, except for 2 things.
