Overcoming Feelings of Inferiority // Genesis 49:16

“I hate myself.” “I look in the mirror and I hate what I see.” “I am too fat.” “I am too skinny.” “I am ugly.” “I am a failure.” “People hate me.” Thoughts and feelings like these are powerful, crippling, and dangerous. As we have seen in our study of Genesis, these emotions have driven people to do dreadful things like selling Joseph into slavery. Because of these emotions you have loved ones starving themselves to death, shutting everyone out, or plunging needles into their arm--you may be doing this to yourself. The good news is the ministry of Christ brings true healing. I urge you to listen to this message because these feelings are so dangerous they cannot be left unattended by the Gospel.
