Overcoming Imposter Syndrome & Getting a $30k pay increase!? | Chelsey

from Girl, I'm proud of you. · host Maria

Today’s episode will focus on something that over half of us experience -  imposter syndrome. For those that don’t know what that is well it’s basically a mixture of anxiety and an inability to recognize your worth. Despite having accomplishments and being qualified you still feel as if you’re not deserving of your job, that it’s all due to luck or good timing, and believe that you have people fooled into thinking you’re better, more intelligent and more competent than you actually are.  To discuss this topic, I invited one of my close friends Chelsey! To give you a bit of background this bad ass babe went from having a pretty shitty experience at a job she was underpaid for and ended up in a job she absolutely loves with a 30k pay increase in only a year. How crazy is that? I love her story because whenever people open up to me about feeling stuck in their current roles/pay rates, I always use her and her story as an example. I’m not gonna give away too much because who better to tell her story than her?Instagram: @Girl.impypodcast
