Overcoming Subconscious Self Sabotage with Jehan Sattaur #34

from Mind Body Medicine for Self Healers · host Sarah Dawkins - Root Cause Healing and Natural Holistic Health Coach

Jehan shares his own struggles of growing up and how he suffered with severe anxiety and depression, to the point he tried to take his own life on three occasions. Through sitting in silent meditation, he finally understood that the negative voice that had been with him for a long time, came from his father. He learnt to switch it off and to start feeling his emotions again. Jehan talks about his feelings of not being worthy and how when he reached out to friends, they didn't understand. He shares valuable information about how we can get out of running on autopilot and start being the creators of our lives. Jehan now helps others to understand and work through their own subconscious programming from the knowledge gained through his own suffering of living with anxiety and depression. 00:00 Introduction02:12 drugs and alcohol to numb social anxiety 03:28 shifting suicidal thoughts07:19 taking control of life 08:04 meditation to feel the emotions 15:20 a helping hand to guide you through understanding your thoughts20:22 ancestors genetics that are within us 22:15 our world is a reflection of our subconscious mind 24:51 change your story, change your life26:31 mindfulness experienceJehan's Bio.Jehan Sattaur is a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Hypnotherapist, Nutrition Coach, Mindfulness Teacher and Specialist in the area of Subconscious Self Sabotage. This Impact Studios production is a collaboration with the Governor family, UTS Faculty of Law and Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research. The Last Outlaws teamKatherine Biber - UTS Law Professor and Chief InvestigatorAunty Loretta Parsley - Great-granddaughter of Jimmy Governor and the Governor Family Historian Leroy Parsons - Governor descendant, Narrator and Co-WriterKaitlyn Sawrey - Host, Writer and Senior ProducerFrank Lopez - Writer, Managing Next Generation Energy Systems Cambridge University Background Stakeholders working with energy systems have to make complex decisions formulated from risk-based assessments about the future. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
