In II Corinthians 2:11, Paul refers to his recognition of a tactic of the enemy, boldly stating “lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.” This hardly seems to be true for us. Instead, most of our time and thoughts seem to be tied up in wondering how we’re doing, if we’re on the right track, if we’re pleasing to God.
