She has served in the full-time ministry for more than 30 years. Patty was baptized in Columbia, Missouri in 1980 while she was earning her degree in journalism from the University of Missouri. Patty moved to Texas in 1996 along with her husband, Todd, and two sons.  Before coming to Texas, Todd and Patty served in several churches in the Midwest.
