Overdoing it, overdoes it

from The Art Of Listening To Your Body · host Jin Ong

Overdoing it overdoes it. More masculine push, pushes things away. The feminine is there to receive, after you’ve done the action. Today some in my group mentioned mozzies. It sent me off on a tangent talking about a few experiences I had of overdoing things. Then my brain kept on remembering more and more events. I’m sharing my personal experience of how overdoing it overdoes it and actually consumes more of your time. These are stories to convey masculine and feminine energetics. I’m currently recovering from a healing but broken ankle (I could talk about this in a whole other episode). I found myself wondering if I took more of a supplement would it speed up my healing. Now I intellectually know that this is not true, nor does it work. Then comes the story of mozzies and a terrible itch I had and a bad mix of antihistamines and instant coffee. Then how 5 elements acupuncture saved me. How I cranked this new mat up and started cooking myself thinking if I turn the dial up, more is better. How I constantly burn food on the stove, or set the fire alarm off and spend more time scrubbing the damn pot. How a cake recipe is to be followed! Overdoing it overdoes it. More masculine push, pushes things away. The feminine is there to receive, after you’ve done the action. Enjoy! Register for the FREE Release live masterclass.
