Overdub Mouthing Music
from Bohacz & Frenz · host Bohacz & Frenz
"Overdub Mouthing Music" came about when I discovered that our Webcor reel-to-reel tape recorder's erase head was faulty. This allowed me to experiment with overdubbing way before I had ever heard of the concept. Here I first lay down myself singing the low piano riff from Vince Guaraldi's "Linus and Lucy," then I overdub myself singing the higher riff (the reason the dub isn't synchronized is because during recording I couldn't monitor the underdub). The next part has me singing music from the TV show "Jonny Quest." I accidentally recorded this over TV audio (or recorded TV audio over it) and the overdubbing is inaudible. I could have recorded it any time after December 12, 1965 (first airing of "A Charlie Brown Christmas") when I was 7 years old.
