Overflow Series Part 4: Full of What?

Jesus said two things that have led to the Overflow Series. First, He said He came to give us a full and abundant life. This is in contrast to the killing, stealing, and destroying that the enemy does. Jesus wants you full of the life He died to give you. Second, Jesus said whatever is on the inside of you will eventually overflow into the outside. You can only get so full of something before it overflows. What fills you, reveals you — for better or worse. Over the past three messages in this series, we’ve been focused on filling ourselves up with things that are a good reflection of the character and nature of Jesus, so we can overflow with things that look like Him. It makes sense that filling yourself with things like love, joy and grace will result in an overflow that leads you to that full and abundant life Jesus talked about, but there are three really basic truths we need to explore before we go any further.
