Which means that the conscious mind can only process what is happening IN THE MOMENT. This contains all of the thoughts, memories, feelings, and wishes that we are aware of in any given moment. It can get overwhelmed easy, and cannot hold as much information as the subconscious mind. Goes to sleep with you.
