What is it like to go from not knowing much about hitting to become a well-known hitting coach? Matt Pierce is the Head Baseball Coach at Houston Christian High School and coaches summer baseball for the South Texas Sliders. Matt started out coaching on the side and was working a regular job full time. He made that transition to become a full-time baseball coach 10 years ago. After he made that transition he talks about why he had to change his hitting philosophy and the importance of continuing to learn and grow as a coach.
