Amanda wanted to make real change in the community so she accepted the role of Executive Director of Family & Children’s Council of Black Hawk County - the area’s leading child abuse prevention agency. Amanda and her close friend, Tara Thomas launched Goodman Thomas Consulting. The two also share a podcast and wildly successful speaking series called “Faith & Four Letter Words” where they chronicle their time working in the boys’ club. On today's episode, Amanda reflects on her time in the news industry, her work with "Faith & Four Letter Words" and the importance of being authentic for all ages.
