Girl 1 has been given lifelong anonymity and so we can’t reveal her true identity.She was one of a number of victims in the highly publicised Oxford Bullfinch case. She has chosen to share her story now to help other young people who may be in a similar situation. Police and social services let her down more than once and she is still picking up the pieces.She talks to me about her own dysfunctional childhood and how she ended up in care homes from the age of twelve years old. How the care system was not an easy journey,  and why she looked for love and attention in all the wrong places, which was when she met the men that abused her.  For 3 years she was trapped, punished physically, mentally, and emotionally.
