P.I.D. Radio 8/15/26: The Strong Covenant

A MIDDLE EASTERN nation reportedly advised another to seek peace with Israel—not as an end to war, but in preparation for it.  The report by Israel’s public radio, KAN News, claims the unnamed nation suggested its counterpart reach an agreement with Israel with the intention of violating it later while preparing for a wider military conflict. Neither nation was identified in the report, which raises many questions. Is it Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, or another traditional enemy of Israel? Could this be "strong covenant with many" prophesied in the book of Daniel? We also discuss a chilling story from Canada about an elderly woman who was put to death under that nation’s Medical Assistance In Dying (MAID) policy, despite the family’s insistence that she was not mentally capable of making such a decision and the lack of evidence that she had given approval.
