We take a closer look at how African, Japanese, and Turkish experts emphasize proximal parenting and emotional restraint for harmony. While European thinkers promote autonomy through play and scaffolding, a 2019 King’s College London study pushed smart toys for self-regulation, while Western authoritative parenting balances warmth and structure.
