Pa. reports state’s 3rd measles-related death

Another person has died from measles in Pennsylvania. A 40-year-old woman died on Saturday in Jefferson County in northwest Pennsylvania. She was unvaccinated. The state has recorded two other measles-related deaths this year, both infants in Lancaster County. According to the state Health Department, there have been nearly 700 measles cases in Pennsylvania so far this year — more than 100 of them in the last week. Nearly all of the cases are in people who are not vaccinated.
