Pa. State Police to begin seizing skill game machines on Oct. 14

from KYW Newsradio Audio On-Demand

Pennsylvania State Police troopers will start seizing illegal "skill game" machines from businesses across the Commonwealth starting next month. In June, the State Supreme Court ruled "skill game" devices are, in fact, slot machines and illegal under the Gaming Act. This does not apply to slot machines operating in licensed casinos and truck stops. The state police says owners of establishments possessing the machines face prosecution and seizure of the devices beginning Oct. 14. (Photo: Joe Raedle/Getty Images)
