Pac-12 Season Starts With a Meh | Spokane News

The Pac-12’s new season started with a whimper, not a bang—going 0-4 against ranked teams. Boise State nearly pulled off an upset at Oregon, Colorado State lit up in their rivalry win, and San Diego State showed offensive promise. But the losses stung: Fresno State got shut out by USC, Texas State got obliterated by Texas, Utah State fell to Idaho State (yes, really), and Oregon State lost to Houston despite a strong QB debut. With Washington State vs. Washington as the only remaining hope for a big upset, the conference is looking lukewarm at best.
