In Pacific Waves today: A senior official in Papua New Guinea's Milne Bay Province says they are 'extremely' worried about the damage Cyclone Maila will cause when it hits them again later this week. The Cook Islands Prime Minister says they are "moving forward" with their relationship with New Zealand following the signing of a new agreement last month. The head of Childfund New Zealand is calling on the governments of New Zealand and Australia to use any reprieve provided by the US brokered ceasefire with Iran to put in place support for Pacific countries amid the global fuel crisis.
