Packers Total Access: Packers vs Panthers Pre-Game Show! The 4-3 Packers host the 3-3 Panthers tonight on Thursday Night Football at Lambeau Field, kicking off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video. The big news from the inactives is that Matthew Golden is active after missing practice Monday and Tuesday with shoulder and foot injuries, and so are all five players who were questionable, including Devonte Wyatt, Anthony Campbell, Brenton Cox Jr., and Keisean Nixon, who was added to the injury report Thursday with a shoulder. The Packers are without center Sean Rhyan, guard/tackle Travis Glover, linebacker Zaire Franklin, Donovan Jennings, Kaleb Johnson, and Jonnu Smith. The Packers are roughly 3.5-point favorites, and Micah Parsons will not play. In this complete pregame show, we dive into: Golden Is Active: NBC reports no limits on his role have been passed along, so he should be good to go for a normal workload. Golden leads the Packers with 36 catches and has 540 receiving yards, and his props sit around 60 yards. Josh Jacobs is also a key player for Yahoo’s preview, since the Packers finally have balance in the backfield. The Offensive Line: Rhyan (high-ankle sprain) and Glover (knee) are out, so John Williams, who had never taken an NFL offensive snap before Sunday, is the center after LaFleur praised how he handled calls against Detroit. Kevin Zeitler, who has been on the team since Week 3 and was active in Weeks 5 and 6 only on special teams, is a candidate to play in Glover’s place. Protection is the biggest question for the Packers tonight. Carolina’s Offense Without Its Line: The Panthers are without four of their original starting offensive linemen, including right tackle Taylor Moton (injured reserve), and guards Damien Lewis and Torricelli Simpkins are inactive. Bryce Young, who is playing with a knee issue but had full practices, was held to 163 yards with two interceptions, a lost fumble, and five sacks by Tampa Bay last week. He is also being pressured at the second-highest rate per dropback of any quarterback this season. The Packers Defense: Green Bay’s defense ranks sixth against the pass and has nine interceptions, and it allows about 4.9 yards per play. The Panthers’ other inactives include outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips (hamstring), tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders, running back AJ Dillon, and defensive tackle Bobby Brown. Carolina is 7-1 to the under in night games. What To Watch: Whether the line gives Love time without both Rhyan and Glover, how much Jacobs runs, and whether Nixon’s shoulder limits him. A win would put the Packers back at 5-3 heading into the Patriots, Vikings, and the Week 11 bye. 📢 SUPPORT THE CHANNEL: Packers Total Access is your #1 source for Green Bay Packers football on YouTube.
