🌟 Today, we kick off our new series, "Eternal". Eternity is something we all long for, but often neglect in our busy lives. We only ponder it during times of loss or illness. Yet, Jesus spoke about Heaven over 80 times in the Gospels, highlighting its significance.When you think of Heaven, what comes to mind? The Presence of God, eternal joy, reunion with loved ones, and peace? Jesus assures us in John 14:2-3 that He has prepared a place for us in His Father's house. Preparing for Heaven is like getting ready for a journey. Just as we meticulously plan our vacations, we must also prepare spiritually for our eternal destination. Faith, love, and righteousness are the essentials we need to pack for this journey. Avoid carrying unnecessary burdens that weigh you down. Let go of sins, worries, and worldly attachments, and focus on the hope we have in Christ.Remember, Heaven is not the end but the beginning of eternal life with Jesus. Set your minds on things above, and let the promise of Heaven inspire you to live a life of faith and purpose. Christ has made the way for us.
