Kevin Acee reported Tuesday night that A.J. Preller "continued on Tuesday to conduct business as he usually would at the end of a season" and that Bob Melvin is expected to return. The information hasn't been confirmed by the Padres but this is the latest information out there on this matter. Plus, Manny Machado had surgery on the extensor tendon in his right elbow this week.
