San Diego erupted for FOUR runs in the eighth inning as Manny Machado crushed a go-ahead two-run homer, Jackson Merrill followed with another massive blast, and Luis Campusano added the insurance RBI that sealed a 5-3 victory over the Marlins.   Walker Buehler battled through adversity and matched a season-high with seven strikeouts before handing it over to one of the best bullpens in baseball. Yuki Matsui, Wandy Peralta, Adrian Morejon and Mason Miller combined to slam the door as the Padres completed the three-game sweep.   Manny Machado earns Player of the Game honors, but Jackson Merrill deserves plenty of love after continuing one of the hottest stretches in baseball.
