Padres sign Manny Machado to a $350M, 11 year extension

Oceanside! Leucadia! What say you about Manny Machado’s $350M contract extension? I thought this distraction was going to drag into the season. I was concerned about Manny’s me-me-me attitude in Baltimore. I was concerned about Manny’s “I’m no Johnny Hustle” attitude in LA. But somehow, someway, Peter Seidler finds a way to lock him down and Padre fans are thrilled. Can someone please explain to me what is going in Oakland, Pittsburgh, Cleveland? Why are these owners not spending? Here’s what Lee Hamilton thinks on Monday, February 27, 2023.
