In the dead of night, as people sleep, that's when the spirits creep. As the belt holes three, dark things take power. We like to call it the supernatural hour. Alright ladies and gentlemen, we are back after a long break from November here into January.

We took some time off, we had to make some changes to the show, but we've for the most part worked everything out and we are back here with the supernatural hour. So you might hear some different voices because like on our last episode Castle mentioned that he is no longer part of the show. I'm still here, this is Tim and I have with me. Me and Beth, are you so excited?

I'm not going to say Simon. I don't like that name, but I'll go with it. We can call you Raven now if you want. I would love that.

Or he's telling you the end. No I'm Raven. Okay, and then we also have. Dawn.

And I guess I'm not going to be silent, Dawn. Nope, not anymore. Because the soundboard says Dawn, it doesn't sound like that. It doesn't say silent.

Fortunately you have to talk now. Well when you guys would mute me, it was like, you know. Well that was all Castle and the muting won't happen anymore because I'm not that kind of person. But you know what?

I could be. I might mute myself sometimes. I can reach his mute button. So it kind of depends on what kind of a day we've had.

We've had a lot of people who are going to be in the table. So we could mute each other. We're probably not going to do that. And we're probably clipping because Castle normally does all of the editing and the soundboard stuff.

So if things sound a little off at first, it's going to be a little bit of growing pains because I've never done the soundboard editing before. So bear with us. You patient. It's 2020.

We can do hard things, right? Yes, sure. Yes, we can. So we're going to kind of keep the same format that we've normally kept with the show.

We're going to start off with business stuff. So I'd like to announce that this show was actually brought to you this week by Secreticities, which is located in Sandy. It's at 941-9 South Union Square. Again, in Sandy.

It's a crystal shop that recently opened up about a year ago. They do a lot of awesome events. They do have energy healers and mediums available daily. So if you're looking for energy work or looking to have a reading done, they do have someone there daily that you can either, they do take walk-ins.

You constantly go on their Facebook page and set up an appointment with one of the healers and readers. Coming up this Saturday the 18th, they do have something that they do every third Saturday of the month. They have their conscious awareness fair. It's a day of waking education.

So they have a bunch of different classes where you can come down and you can learn about the crystals or you can learn about intuition and how to develop that and just a bunch of other cool classes you can take. They do have a list I have here in front of me. I will try to copy that and put it up on the Facebook page. So you guys can kind of see a list of events.

They do accept walk-ins. Again, but it's better to buy your tickets in advance. So, having said that, up next we do have recent investigations on ODM. You guys are recently on one.

So I've actually had quite a few over the Christmas break. And they have been buried. One of my favorite ones probably was actually a friend I went to high school with. He just shot me a text one day and he says, let me send you some video that I got from my ring doorbell.

Not his ring doorbell. He had some inside cameras. And he said, what do you think about these? I was completely thinking, oh, they're going to be dust because most videos, most orbs are dust.

But when these videos came and I have them, we will try to get them put up on the website again. If you change is going on and so it might take us a little while, but you could tell that these were not dust. If you look at orbs that are paranormal, they move in different directions. They move fast.

They change direction. So I said, you know what? You have got something. So we went out and in his home, he said, what were some of the things he said was going on?

Oh, whatever it was was kind of targeting women in the home. Not targeting, but just touching them and hanging around them and stuff like that. And that barking dog, I'm so sorry. That is my little dog.

And if you hear a little barking dog, my apologies. See the rat. But what else was going on? The previous homeowner had committed suicide at the home, which was an interesting tidbit.

Right. And on the deck, he did say that things went missing. And overall, just kind of a feeling. And so it turns out that there was, the homeowner was in the home.

There was also a woman. And did we decide there was a child there? I don't know. I think there's actually been several.

So I get to mix that. But there were three spirits in the home. And he said, they didn't want to leave. And he said they can stay as long as they behave.

And so we all sat down and had a little chat. And then we left. So that's how that one turned out. And I know I said you won one recently because I couldn't go to that.

How did that one turn out? It was very quick. It was very simple. We went up to this lady's house that was having things move around her house.

She actually told us that she had her earrings. She found them in the trash. And she didn't throw brand new earrings away because it just spends all that money on earrings just to throw them in the garbage. So we were actually able to determine with the help of Peaches that it was an eight-year-old girl who had been murdered by her father sometime back in the 40s, I believe it was.

And she was just kind of like a mischievous little girl that liked to play around and play jokes. The lady didn't really feel comfortable with the spirit in her home. And she was able to ask the little girl politely. Especially if she went across over.

That was not something she wanted to do because she was having too much fun. So she decided that she would go ahead and leave the house and kind of leave that lady alone. And then we were able to kind of put a biting alone. So not to be a little girl but it was also kind of to keep other spirits out because there were other things that were happening.

That was mainly with an ex-boyfriend. He had some kind of stuff with him that you don't really want your life. So the biting was more for like if he happened to come back over it was to keep that stuff from coming into the house. But it was a very quick, very simple investigation.

And then there was one that all of us went on just before that. And it was in a home. There was a type two in the closet. And he just didn't really know boundaries.

He liked to tease kids and play with kids that could see him but he didn't understand when he should stop. And the little boy in the home, the living boy, he was sensitive and he could see him and he could sense him and really kind of threw him out of whack. And it hadn't the little boy actually seen him and talked about that there was a ghost in the closet from a very young age three or four. Yeah, because the family lived in a long time.

I say little boy, he was probably 12 or 13. But ever since he was little he could see it. There was also a grandma spirit in the home and she kind of had some dementia issues not all the way with it. And then there was a baby about 18 months and the nanny.

There was some family dynamics and we actually sent the brandy scent, the male packing because he didn't know boundaries but the other three stayed. Oh no, no grandma, grandma crossed but the nanny and the baby stayed. Yeah, the homeowners were totally fine with those things. I mean it was kind of nice to be able to help them out.

Like just seeing him in his own bedroom. He was so nervous. Oh he was. I was just there before we actually were able to go in and take care of business.

I can just feel his anxiety and his nervousness just being in his own bedroom. That's how it's ready was on. I remember back from the family I don't know if you have but hopefully things do get better for them and he's able to sleep in the room without being afraid of his own bedroom. Yeah, no he I mean you could just he was visibly you could feel it like Tim said but he was visibly upset as well.

So, all right. I think that's how we have for recent investigations. I do have a public investigation in the works is probably going to end up towards the end of February. I still have to discuss with Deann and Don here.

Raven and the rest of the group here and pick an official date but will probably be towards the end of February. The plan right now is to go back to family to your restaurant and just so you guys are where there are some things that we're going to be doing differently. In the past we've been trying to do investigation about once a month. We're going to cut that back a little bit just because it's been kind of difficult for us with a lot of changes that's been going on with Castle leaving the team.

So we're just we're trying to figure things out and how to look for here. So we're probably going to come back to about one every other month or one every third month. So we'll have as many public investigations which will be nice for you guys too because we won't be burned out going to the same places over and over again. There'll be some space between those investigations.

That being said we're going to try to get some new venues going and even though we don't have an investigation plan we may have some other things that month just for comradery. So just keep posted because there's some fun stuff coming up. Yeah we're definitely going to try to do some meetups so we're definitely trying to get out of the public picture. Build a community around that's not just investigations and the podcast but have a bit of a community and some get together kinds of things.

So having said that I guess we'll move on into our topic of being that it's a new year and we've had a lot of holidays recently. We want to jump into where some of these holidays came from and what started modern religion as it is today. So we're going to talk about paganism and discuss about what that actually is. Do you want to start yourself?

Sure. So we decided on a topic. I'll get you learned up. So I sat down and I thought okay I know what paganism is and I knew what the world says is not really what it is because it gets kind of a bad rap.

People say oh you're pagan and what most people mean by that is evil. You're a devil worshiper. And that's not what it is. If you get looking into it you know it's very nature based and very I don't want to say holistic but very nature based and very loving and actually wrote down a couple things.

It's broadly connoted as a religion of the peasantry and during and after the Middle Ages it was always applied to some unfamiliar religion because of their beliefs in the false gods. Paganism they basically believe in many gods. They're not limited to one and so if you think about it people say oh you're pagan like it's a bad thing but then you trot off to school and take your mythology class with Greek and Roman gods and you're fine with that. And Romans are pagans.

Technically the term pagan didn't come about until after Christianity was established in Europe. It was basically a means in the literal definition of paganism. A person holding religious beliefs all over the world of religions. When they were referring to people's pagans back then it simply meant and I guess in Latin it was paganism from me like correctly.

And it literally just meant country dweller. So I mean then when the term first came about it wasn't really anything derogatory it was just basically something that didn't believe in Christianity. And the term has evolved into meaning not one of the major Judeo-Christian religions or Muslim religions coming from the Abrahamic links where you can even consider some of the Buddhist, some of the Hindu, some of those are often times considered also as pagan religions. Right.

Some of the things that I thought was interesting is I sat down and I knew that pagans weren't evil but I didn't know a whole lot about it. And so as I sat down and was looking at it with my religion being very dogmatic and here's the rules and here's the steps I kept looking for rules and steps. And I was getting a little frustrated because I thought how can I find a site that says if you're pagan you do this, this, this, and this. But what I discovered is that because they're not dogmatic if you're pagan you can really kind of pursue your own vision.

How you see it. What's personal to you, what speaks to you. They see the earth as sacred. There's a few things that in general most of them think.

But it's not so much a public religion as a domestic personal religion. And not all of the gods that pagan's worship are necessarily humanoid. For lack of a better word, superhuman gods. A lot of them can be a collective or elemental, which I found interesting.

To be honest with you, paganism isn't necessarily religion. In my opinion, it's more of a way of life. Exactly. There's not really a headquarters.

When you've got the LDS headquarters here in Utah, you've got the Catholic headquarters in the Vatican. There's different headquarters for the different religions. And with paganism, it's just the whole thing about it as being one with nature, one with the universe. And basically just being a good person.

There are different forms of paganism. I mean, Wicca, which came about in the 50s. But there's one of the mainstream forms of paganism. There's also the druids that are over in Europe.

There's another form of paganism. It's more of a way of life and more, a way of being one with yourself in nature. Right. Now apparently there is, and I didn't read very much about this, but there is a pagan federation.

And in the pagan federation, they recognize the rich diversity of all the traditions of all the different, you know, sex. And like Tim said, some of the major ones, and I wrote these down because I knew I would never remember them so far in some paper rustling. But there was, I don't remember what I know, but there's Wiccaans. Oh, there's druids.

Celtic religions, the Nordic religions all have multigods. Egyptians are pagans. Voodoo, the Greeks are Romans already said that. But any culture, any religion that has kind of that multigod, you know, can do.

Yeah, and basically non-abra-hamek. Exactly. Religions. And that didn't dawn on me, you know, the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians.

I mean, I knew they were multigods, but since I didn't know really a definition of pagan, I thought, oh, never do. See, that's kind of the same way I was, because I always enjoyed studying Greek and Roman mythology. But I've never made that connection that those were actually like pagan religions. Most of the religions are the mythologies from back then, or like you said, can be polytheistic as far as how they believe in different gods or deities.

And their deities, it was funny because they would actually change depending on their region. Like you could have, you know, this part of Scotland would believe in one deity, or this part would believe in another one. Basically, they believed in kind of what they needed at the time, like what was close by, like they lived near the sea. Like the Greeks, for example, they lived near the sea, they're going to worship Poseidon, where if they live in the forest, there might be like Artemis or something like that.

It was all dependent on where they lived at the time. And this was all before like the written language was actually a thing. So a lot of these pagan religions were not, it's just stories that have been passed down because back then there was no way to write down or keep track of kind of how the religion worked. And that's kind of the nice thing, is that's what kind of helped make it different between the different areas in certain regions.

Right, you know, and a lot of times it just goes down from father to son, father to son. You know, things are going to change a little bit as the son might say, well, you know, dad said this, but I feel that maybe this plus, you know, this experience that I had to do with it. That's fine with pagans because it's so such a personal experience that it's okay. They're not a set thing that they have to follow.

And so if it needs to change or tweak per person, you can do that. So how did pagans get such a bad rap? That's a very good question. Yes, it is.

How did they get a bad rap? A lot of it came about with the expansion of Christianity and the church. And as they moved into areas and conquered people, what do you do to espouse your beliefs, you displace other people's beliefs, you take other people's beliefs. Sometimes you even incorporate some of other people's celebrations and things into your beliefs so that those people will more readily accept your beliefs.

And that's how you get Christmas. Exactly. And that's one of the things that I kind of looked at. You know, after kind of just kind of researching what basic paganism was, then I thought, well, that's one of the holidays because, you know, I have friends.

I shouldn't say friends. I have one friend that... You have one friend? I have one friend.

I have more friends. You'll be your friend. You'll be my friend. That's a hard no.

She's thinking about it. She's eating candy. She's eating skills. I should say I have one acquaintance.

I have one acquaintance that thinks that Halloween is evil and she doesn't let her kids go trick-or-treating and they go somewhere else as a family. You know, public and indoors that doesn't do a Halloween sort of thing to get away from. I just thought, how sad that your kids can't put on Princess dresses and get candy from the neighbors because that's all we do. She's jealous with this.

No. No. So I got to look at the pagan holidays and they, you know, they're Halloween. There's the winter solstice, which is Christmas.

There's candleness, which is Valentine's Day. There's the spring equinox, which is Easter. There's Beltane, if I'm saying that right. It's May Day.

There's the summer solstice. There's Harvest, which is in the fall. Hey, thanks, Jimmy. I know.

Weird, right? There's an autumn equinox. And then I thought, okay, well, that's cool. There's a few more in there that I didn't realize.

But then you look at the days of the week and you know, these people, oh, you're so pagan. Well, you know what, folks, days of the week. They're pagan. Monday is Moon's Day.

Tuesday is tears day. These are, these are gods. I think they're Norse gods. Wednesday is Odin's Day.

Thursday is Thor's Day. And how many people love Thor? Guess what? He's pagan.

See, I've known that since I was a little kid that's like, I've always loved Thor. He's been my favorite of the Norse gods. Friday is Fray's Day. And Fray is the god of love and wisdom.

Love and something. Wife of Odin? Yeah, Christianity made into a witch. Yep.

And changed her, changed the story about her, to drive people away from their pagan beliefs into Christian beliefs. And you know, Fray, like you say, has got a beauty in love and that and has been demonized to become kind of the wicked witch. Look, I've got a wrong here. Fray is sort of similar to the Greeks, god Gaia, who was basically essentially Mother Earth.

So the next thing I was going to say was Saturday is Saturn's Day, but it kind of depends on which mythology you follow. It could be Jupiter's Day or Zeus's Day. And then Sunday is the day of the sun. So, yeah, you can put in, you know, if you're, so yeah, my personal favorite, I love Greek mythology.

So I would put in the Greeks name so far. You know, instead of Fray, I think the Greek equivalent would be Aphrodite. I think she's beauty in love. Yeah, she is.

So, you know, I could call it Thursday. I'm going to start calling Friday Aphrodite Day. Okay. So if I tell you that it's going to happen on Aphrodite Day.

Valentine's might actually happen on Aphrodite Day. I don't remember. Not to look up. Did you say Aphrodite or Aphrodite?

Aphrodite Day. I thought you said Aphrodite Day. Aphrodite. That's hard.

I managed to double over my words. Don't make it out of me. No, that's, it's a touch of Kecchi. It's like Dionne.

Dionne and Donne. So you guys are one. So it's Dionne. So you got Aphrodite.

Aphrodite. I'm going to start calling it Thursday then. Okay. North Thursday.

Hey, I'll see you next Thursday. All right. Look how cool we did start a new thing in 2020. You could.

Moon's Day. We're going to start using this. We're going to be trendsetters. I like that.

I can't even say it now. Aphrodite Day. So one thing I noticed, we recently had a new year, obviously. Some people were like, oh my gosh, where did all the earth successfully rotated around the sun?

Let's celebrate. Tell me to do it for how many millions of years? Right? So I mean, of course Americans in the world, well, not everybody, but a lot of cultures will find a reason to get silly drunk and celebrate.

And, you know, it's fun, but that's not how a new year originally came about. New year actually wasn't even in January. It was in April. It was April 1st.

And that's how April 4th came about because you had those old pegan, the people still practiced their pegan ways. Going off of the winter solstice and the spring one. The equinox. Equinox.

They were off of the season. So they're new. You started when spring came about and they were able to replant their crops. And...

And their fertility rights. Exactly. So then when the Christians came about and they're like, well, no, we're going to change it to January 1st. Because that makes sense to us for some reason.

I don't know. I didn't actually research that, but I know it was changed. And the people that still practiced their pegan ways on April 1st, and they were called April Fools because they're like, well, that's not the new year anymore. It's now in January.

You guys are foolish for celebrating this. That is awesome. I never knew that. Well, now you know.

I was going to have the battle. I was kind of called it April Fools Day was kind of my day because I have a hard time sometimes. Just sometimes. Yes, just sometimes.

I'd hopefully get the rest of the time. It's like other holidays like Halloween. We talked about this on our Halloween show. That was the fall.

I don't remember the name. It is Samhain. Samhain. I don't know what that's saying.

Samhain. Samhain. That's what they would like. They're big bonfires because they were doing their kind of celebration.

They always let big bonfires on every celebration. They like big bonfires. They love their bonfires. You big bonfires on the summer solstice and dance around the fires in the spring and summer.

I think we do for big bonfires. I think we'll do for big bonfires. I think we'll find a big bonfire in the winter. We'll do that for February.

Get together. We'll start celebrating the pagan holidays and lighting bonfires. Then we can win effigies on them. That's what we did in high school.

We would do a big bonfire. If we were in Spanish ford, we'd burn dons. I don't want to be burned. The Spanish ford dons.

That was their match. That was their match dons. Oh, okay. Not just some dude named Don.

Oh, well then you're safe. Don't worry about it. We got you. As I said, I don't want to be burning dons.

That's all you know. It's been a rough week. So we're going to find your ex husband too? We can do that too.

We can do that too. We can do that too. We can do multiple dons. I know a bunch of dons.

I know a bunch of dons. She knows more dons than... Because I've got to burn them. I've got to have a bunch of them.

So you get a couple together and when they introduce them, you can be like this is Don. Don. I could do that. Oh, right.

I'm going to go away from the holidays for just a little bit. That's fine. One of the last things that I kind of found on paganism was right at the end of my reading. At the end of my research, there's this picture.

If I can, I'll get it up where you can probably just look it up. But it represented circles and how everything worked together. I'll try to explain this the best I can. The biggest circle was paganism.

The definition that was on there at the time said modern religions movement of paths influenced by historical paganism. So basically just the modern paganism. Then within that big circle was a wickens circle. It said wickens.

It's a modern pagan religion blending European folk traditions with 19th and 20th century occultism. What this means is if you're wicken, you're pagan, but if you're pagan, you're not necessarily wickens. Does that make sense? Yeah.

If you're Catholic, you're Christian, but if you're Christian, you're not necessarily Catholic. So the third circle was witchcraft. The witchcraft, about a fourth of the circle touched into paganism, kind of went into wicken a little bit, but most of the circle, about three-fourths of the circle was outside of paganism. It said non-religious practice of the manifestations of a particular intent from the interconnectedness, which I think is a made-up word of the world.

So if you practice witchcraft, you're a little bit pagan, a little bit wicken, but mostly not. And just to see how all of those interconnected and overlapped and how you were some and parts I found very interesting. So to me, if I were to sum all this up as how I understand it, the pagan religion is just how you want to do it. And you take your own path, you take from the nature and from your own spiritual experiences, however you define that, and you make this religion your own.

And there are some people that may be more attractive for whatever reason to the male gods of whichever use mythology, just for the sake of everyone else I'm talking about. But some might go more towards those, the male gods, as their head gods, their head deities. Some might go more towards the female deity. Whatever speaks to them, some might say, you know what, I kind of have the feels and get what I need, having more of a balanced male and female doing what they need.

So I found it very interesting. It's a very fluid, very harmonious religion and not an evil devil worshipping, as some people may say when they say, you're so pagan. And it's not dogmatic as far as, you know, here are the prescribers and rights and movements here. Now there may be rights and different things and different aspects of some of the different sects and some of the different belief systems.

But it's, I don't know if I'd say less rigid or less dogmatic than some of the Christian beliefs, but it's more fluid and more. Choose your own path and work through your own things. I mean, one of the main things is the pagans they don't look at, Jesus is their personal savior. That's not part of the religion or part of paganism.

And the whole Abrahamic kind of traditions aren't, I don't want to say they're not excluded because love is love and truth is truth. And so they're not mutually exclusive one from another, but they don't practice or they don't spouse some of the Christian beliefs and scriptures as far as being, you know, their structure. Well, to be honest with you, I mean, if you look at it, a lot of the mainstream are linked to the way that they do things throughout the year. They're in a way sort of practicing paganism themselves.

I mean, they may only believe in one God, but all the holidays that we celebrate again all came from had pagan roots. So in a way, if you look at it, and this is just my opinion, again, all these, a lot of these mainstream religions are still sort of practicing paganism. Yeah, they just don't realize it. Well, and a lot of them have brought paganism traditions in to the religion.

Now, you have to laugh as I was doing some research. And right from what I was doing some research, there was one pagan site that said the 4th of July is a pagan holiday. And I thought, no, you know, I mean, to kind of say that all of the holidays came from paganism and the pagan traditions is not necessarily accurate. A lot of them did, but to say that they all did.

Now, you know, I see an overlap between the 4th of July. Here's a really big summer holiday where everybody gets together and you shoot off fireworks and you celebrate the independence of America from Great Britain. And I can see where people look at that and say, oh, that's similar holiday, a summer festival where you get together and worship fire and do that. I mean, I see similarities there, but to say Independence Day was derived from a pagan holiday, no, it wasn't.

But there are parallels there. So yeah, it's kind of way things are nowadays. You're saying with the 4th of July, that's more, that's an American holiday. That's not something you practice anywhere else in the world.

They don't practice that in England. It's not like the fireworks on the 4th of July. I mean, technically the holidays called Independence Day. It's not just what happens to be on the 4th of July.

That's why we call it that. I guess it's more catchy than Independence Day. But most of these religions are not always in the holidays that we practice throughout the world. And some of the countries, not just here in America, I mean, like Christmas and technically Canada's Thanksgiving sometime in October, but like Halloween and the New Year and all that.

It's all from paganism. And I mean, there was the period where it was just kind of like you're going around and everybody's just like, join our religion or die. And I think that kind of came up with a better way. It's like, all right, here's what we'll do.

You guys like to celebrate this. You were going to find a way to kind of work it into our religion and we'll find the best of both worlds. So if you join us, you can still do your stuff, but this is how it's done now. Yeah, so it's kind of like we'll try to ease you in by accepting and replacing your pagan gods with Christian gods and or saints.

And different areas of bringing those kinds of things in there and celebrating all Saints Day and different things that were brought over from a number of different pagan traditions. Right, I mean, for example, the Christmas where the winter solstice, it was called Yule. And Christmas, when we say, you know, we've got the Yule log and I mean Yule is a word that, I don't know that, at least I don't use it a whole lot, but if someone would say to me, Yule, I think Christmas. Well, they have no high greetings.

Christmas trees. That's a Christmas tree is a very Nordic, pagan, you know, ever green, ever life-affirming. You know, it stays green all winter long. It lives all winter long.

And that's become, you know, a major symbol of Christmas. And that started as a pagan tradition. I mean, I found it very interesting. I thought it was, I'm not going to be converting to paganism, but I found it very interesting.

There's talking about like replacing things with like Saints and whatnot. I remember reading somewhere there was, I think it was in Norse mythology. There was like a whale or something that was dedicated to Freya. And in order to like kind of convert that over to Christianity, it now became a Virgin Mary thing.

But they still let them like kind of worship that thing, so to speak. But now it's had to do with the Virgin Mary and not Freya anymore. So there's just a lot of things. I mean, this is awesome website that I found.

It's called pathos.com. It's P-A-T-H-E-O-S.com. And it has a ton of information on paganism, but also a ton of information on other religions as well. So if you have some time to kill, you're looking for a good read to just that website.

There's so much more information on that website than what we're covering here in the show, just because we have, you know, very limited time to actually sit and talk to you guys about this. Right. And then, you know, usually when I do research on different things, because as much as I would like to think I know everything, I really don't. You know, we like to sit down and just throw up some YouTube videos and just watch some videos.

And you know, you know, guys know how YouTube works. Some that are fabulous and really speak to you and some that are really lame. But we ran across a handful of, you know, just short little videos that explained that we're really fabulous. So if this is something that interests you...

Yeah, a couple that we're pretty lame. Some that we're really, really lame. It's like, oh, these guys are crazy sauce. But I think most of them are really good.

So if this is something that interests you and you want to find out more about it or something you would like to get into yourself, you know, absolutely do your research and find what works for you, because paganism will be great for that. You know, whatever works for you is what you can do. And I think one of the big takeaways from this is the idea that if someone is pagan, that doesn't mean that they're devil worshippers. Okay, that doesn't mean that they're anti-love or evil or anything else.

We've got a number of really good friends that are pagan. You know, they're part of our family. We love them and they love us and it's a great association. You don't have to be afraid of pagans as being evil.

I mean, that was part of the Christianity church and things was to demonize the pagans, literally, to try to make it so that it was bad, so that Christianity could expand. And the Christian principles and the Christian beliefs, I'm not getting the right word, but doctrine could be more fully implemented. And to do that, it kind of goes back to what happened with the women that were knowledgeable in Salem with the witches. You know, they decried them as witches.

It's kind of the same thing with the pagan religions. You know, they were deified or deified. They were demonized. Well, and with witchcraft, I mean, like some of the wist trials that happened just out here in America in Salem, and we was throughout Europe, throughout the 1700s and...

Oh, there's holy inquisitions by the church. So, yeah, witchcraft was demonized. And when you look at it now, where, like I said, I think it was like the 50s, when the wicked was formed, it kind of brought it back to people and shown them that witchcraft isn't necessarily a bad thing. You can still practice a form of magic, and you can use it for good.

It's not necessarily bad. Like they believed and they're not going to go throw you on a stake in burning. But the thing with paganism is, a lot of people aren't very open about being paganism. Being a pagan for that reason, it's been demonized.

It's like, oh, you're a bad person if you're pagan. So a lot of people will go out and practice in public, and they'll make people aware of the fact that they do practice paganism. But a lot of people just kind of keep themselves from their close friends and family, and don't want to deal with that misunderstanding that people have about being a pagan. Right, in fact, the one close friends that we have, I didn't know they were pagan for a couple years, and then, well, maybe not quite that long, maybe about a year, and then he mentioned that he practiced, and was pagan, and I was like, I don't think that I ever thought that pagans were evil.

I just, I don't know what I expected, but I was like, I never knew. They're just very mainstream, very normal. It's not weird at all. I think that's one of the nice things about paganism, where people that are pagan, they don't judge people the way that so-called super religious people would.

They just, they do, you do you, and they'll do them. Like, they want everyone to live harmoniously with Earth and with nature, and they want the best for everybody. I've seen people that are just like, you know, if you don't practice my religion, or you're going to go hell, if you don't do things the way my religion does it, and it's just not how it should be, in my opinion. Right.

So I'm a very strong believer, and you have your free agency, and you do what feels good to you, and you do your research, and you look at all the religions, and you pick what speaks to you, and you let person A maybe write, person B maybe write who knows who's right. You know, that's up to you, and I believe that there's going to be consequences for actions. You have good consequences, you have bad consequences. I don't believe I'm the judge of those consequences, and you know, if you feel good, and if you believe, for example, I believe that someday I'm going to have to account for everything I've done in my life, and I feel like if I, you know, if I have consequences, I'll have consequences, but I'm doing what I feel is right, and I think that others can do what they feel is right.

Okay. Oh, sorry. I went off on the ramp there. No, that's fine.

I think we've covered quite a bit. Is there anything else that we would like to add as far as paganism goes? I think I've covered everything as best as I understand it. I know we've not, obviously we haven't touched on everything.

We haven't covered the whole spectrum of paganism, because there's just so much to it. There's a lot. And there's not enough that we can, or there's too much to cover in like an hour-long segment here. But having said that, it's one of the things that I've started looking into myself, just because of the things I've learned as I grow and developed my gifts.

Just to me, it makes more sense. Just things that I've witnessed personally through hypnosis and sessions I've been through, and kind of meditations I've been through. So it just makes more sense. But I still like, I'm on the balance of LDS and paganism to be honest with you.

There's things about each thing I like, and I'm still researching myself, which one I want to do. But it's not for everybody, I guess. You've got to do what is best for you, what your heart feels is the right thing for you to do. Don't go out and do something just because it's somebody else that says, Hey, this is what I do, so you should do it too.

You've got to put in the time, put in the effort to research and study whatever religion you choose to be. And go with one that makes the most sense of feels right to you. Amen. So that will wrap up paganism.

We'll get back into some of our other features that we've had in the past that we haven't done. So we're bringing back Stone of Week. I missed those in the last few episodes. I recently had some energy work done with this amazing lady named Angela, who also works at Sacredness Industries every Saturday.

I'm going to plug the crap out of that place because I've been there like three times this week, and the pages have been there with me. They have a little seating area where you can just go and chill and just like kind of decompress. But one of the, this Angela lady that I was working with, she just invented your work on me and she suggested a stone. I haven't been able to find it yet because I haven't really looked too hard, but I do like what this stone represents.

And this is called Morganite. Now this is like, it's a kind of stone like a rose quartz. So what Morganite does is it's a powerful, high vibrational, a universal stone of unconditional love. That's a member of the barrel family, and it has the siblings of Emerald, Heliodor, and Alcaromarine.

Like I said, Morganite is pink. It's a pink variety of the barrel. It helps to attract and maintain love. It also activates and cleanses the heart chakra connecting to the divine love.

Holding a piece of Morganite brings a sense of deep peace and joy both within us and with the world. This makes Morganite, favorite among very many metaphysical users like I said. This is Angela's one that recommended this because she uses it during her healing sessions. Morganite is a very gentle stone.

It allows for easy, gentle, release of emotions kind of like an angel holding your heart. People that are overwhelmed by the huge heart chakra opening that is brought on by rose quartz resonate better with Morganite because it slowly and gently opens that, the gentle opening that moves at the rate that is perfect for each user. So it works best with what you need at the time. It doesn't just kind of like bam, here it is like rose quartz.

Morganite's it's clear and pure heart energy eases the pain of old emotional wounds and forgotten traumas. Unfulfilled emotional needs and unexpected emotions are brought forth by Morganite as it nurtures the emotional body. Morganite will open the heart to receive messages and wisdom from your guides, angels, and guardians. It encourages patience and reverence for life and all living things.

Morganite brings forth loving thoughts and actions keeping the user centered in love. It's sweet energy makes a stone of a puppy of and first kisses. Now physically Morganite uses symptoms associated with chest ailments such as emphysema and asthma. It also may help with heart palpitations, thyroid problems, and nervous system disorders.

Now when you're using Morganite one of the affirmations that you can use is as you can say I'm surrounded by angelic energy and divine love. The list stone actually resonates or not resonates but it's the stone. It kind of represents if you're looking at the zodiac calendar it represents leavers. And it also represents a heart chakra.

Like I said it's pink. It's mine from Brazil, Madagascar, Pakistan, Russia. It's an uncommon stone. And some of the common conditions that it helps with, again, I mentioned some already but I mentioned these again.

For physical it's abdominal problems, asthma, it helps with the dying process and transitioning. Emphysema, emphysema, emphysema. With heart, impotence, lungs, muscular and skeletal problems and with sexual abuse and thought problems. Now for a gliive emotional it helps with coping with changes, it uses depression, gives you an emotional release, gives forgiveness, helps with love, motivation, reducing stress and tension, releasing toxic patterns for people, helps with acceptance, self care, self love and unconditional love.

And then some of the spiritual aspects of the stone helps with angelic communication, connecting with your high source with divine love, connection and guidance, with the godhead, with the heart chakra, soul, and again unconditional love. Again, this stone is called Morganite and is definitely one that I plan on adding to my collection so I can use it when I'm helping people. Ooh, me too. I like that.

So I believe next we have some weird wild news. Yeah, we do. So as I was researching, I'm trying to find something that was wacky and fun. I pulled up one and it said paranormal beer and I thought paranormal beer, what the heck?

So I thought this will be interesting. It actually wasn't. It was a website. But it was in a really cool bottle.

So if you want a really cool looking bottle of ale, go to flyingmonkeys.ca and it's called Paranormal Imperial Pumpkin Ale. So that was just kind of cool. But the wacky paranormal news I found is actually, I don't know if it's going to sound like news or if I'm going to sound like a commercial. That's C.A.

is used to Canada. So I don't know if you'll be able to ship the air to the States. But if you're a candidate, Canada, you might be able to get some of that awesome beer. And if you've got Canadian friends, they could send it to you.

This is true. They could. I have Canadian friends. Okay, so here we go.

Ready? It was a commercial. I'd like it as a commercial. I've been practicing this as a commercial.

So you can all tell me if I'm commercial worthy or if I need to stick to my day job. This is great. I need to stick to my day job. My feelings will not be hurt.

No, I'll just take you how to use your radio voice and I know that's something in a special voice. Just kind of like this. I'm actually practicing. My dogs have practice as you can tell.

Yeah, I know. We're going to get rid of her for next time. Not really. No, we're just going to show her.

It's just not that ready. Just put her somewhere where she doesn't sing so much. Anyway, so here we go. Ready?
