The time has come where we need to start considering an true international beauty pageant board to regulate these competitions. One of my dear friends Kiara Monee Tolentino (from the Miss Black California fame) and I sit down and drink our wine as we REALLY discuss the downsides of pageantry, what goes on behind close doors but really out in the open in the pageant world. Let's discuss, should there be an official pageant committee regulating our pageant competitions? What should we do if they don't comply with the regulations? Would you still compete? We sit down and openly talk about the good and bad in competing and what should be done to eliminate sexual harassment and the underground corruption we are currently seeing in our industry.
