Paige was on the silver medal-winning women’s 4 x 200M freestyle relay, where the relay team broke an American record and dipped below the previous world record held by Australia. She is an NCAA champion swimmer, swimming for the University of Virginia. As an asthmatic, Paige became ill when she came down with COVID-19 before the Olympic Trials.
