There was to be no miracle at Lord’s, Pakistan missing out on a place in the semi-finals to New Zealand on net run-rate. But they did at least finish with a rousing victory over Bangladesh at Lord’s, Imam-ul-Haq hitting his first hundred of the tournament and the teenage left-arm quick Shaheen Shah Afridi taking record-breaking figures of 6-35.
