Palace Chase Disasi as Lacroix Heads to Chelsea | Chelsea F.C. News

Crystal Palace is set to swoop for Chelsea’s Axel Disasi as they prepare for the potential exit of their own defender, Maxence Lacroix — who’s also being eyed by Chelsea. With Lacroix’s contract still three years away, Palace are in a strong position to negotiate, while actively scouting Disasi, who’s been on loan at West Ham and hasn’t even shown up for Chelsea’s pre-season. Chelsea wants to offload Disasi for around £25 million, though he’s reportedly reluctant to drop down to the Championship — even as West Ham shows interest. Meanwhile, Palace are also keeping tabs on Augsburg’s Chrislain Matsima, though talks haven’t begun. All this unfolds as Palace enters a new era under manager Pierre Sage, following Oliver Glasner’s exit — a summer of transition, player shuffles, and fresh coaching energy.
