Palantir has landed 27+ military contracts already. This includes some really dystopian stuff from surveillance to the food supply. Tearing down what little regulation and law there is to slow their greed is their main purpose. They are absorbing the government—not influencing it and in a world of existential threats sometimes this one seems less immediate.
