Piers then turns to Israeli Former Prime Minister Ehud Barak, a man who personally strove to protect his nation when it was surrounded and attacked in their 1948 war. For him, the moral responsibility for Palestinian suffering lies squarely on the shoulders of the nations that wanted to destroy Israel.
