PALITICUS - Ep. 046: Judge Michèle Patrão Forsythe

Judge Michèle Patrão Forsythe is a family court judge for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina. Judge Forsythe was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in 2016 and was re-elected in 2022. Michèle is a first-generation American, fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. She also studied French. Born in New Jersey and raised in Washington, D.C., Judge Forsythe graduated from college, traveled abroad, and worked for the United States Government, ultimately attending law school. Presently, Judge Forsythe is working to provide access to justice for children who are involved in delinquency cases and abuse and neglect cases.
