Palm Bay Launches “Treats, Beats & Eats” Monthly Food Truck Series at City Hall

from The Palm Bayer · host Thomas Gaume

PALM BAY, FL – Get ready for a new recurring community event, Palm Bay. The City of Palm Bay has announced the launch of “Treats, Beats & Eats,” a monthly food truck festival set to kick off on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at City Hall. This new series promises to deliver a vibrant mix of culinary delights, music, and community engagement. Following in the footsteps of the popular “Trucks, Treats & Eats” events of the past, this revamped series aims to become a staple for residents looking for a family-friendly evening out. The city has already scheduled two additional dates for the series on March 20th and April 10th, with each event promising a unique lineup of vendors and entertainment. This isn’t just an opportunity for residents to have a good time; it’s a significant platform for local businesses. The city is actively seeking both food and non-food vendors to participate. For non-food businesses, registration is free, though it requires a completed application, a copy of a driver’s license or business license, and proof of automotive insurance. All participating vendors must ensure their offerings are family-friendly.Food vendors face a more rigorous but straightforward application process. Requirements include a completed form, a business license, and a Certificate of Insurance that names the City of Palm Bay as a certificate holder. The deadline for payment and registration for the inaugural event is Monday, February 23rd. The city has noted that it will manage vendor selection to ensure a diverse range of cuisines, preventing oversaturation and enhancing the attendee experience. The city is also calling on local businesses to sponsor the event series. Sponsorships, both monetary and in-kind, will go toward funding live entertainment, activities, and other upgrades to the attendee experience. This presents a prime opportunity for local companies to demonstrate their community support and gain visibility. As a long-time advocate for community engagement, I see this as more than just a food truck rally. It’s a chance for us to connect, for local entrepreneurs to thrive, and for the city to foster a stronger sense of community. So, mark your calendars. Let’s show up, support our local businesses, and prove that when we come together, we build a better Palm Bay. See you there. For more information on becoming a vendor or sponsor, interested parties should contact Marissa LaQuino, the Special Events Recreation Leader, at [email protected] or by phone at 321-952-3400, extension 4328.
