As disciples, our whole Christian lifemust be nourished not only by the sacraments, but by the Word of God.As Lent comes to a close, we are invited to participate in these long readings and the passion narratives to make them present to us, here and now. Remembering that God's words do not just describe but make things happen. The Passion narrative sum up the action that Jesus took in order to save us. St Paul puts it so beautifully for us in the 2nd reading -Christ was humble enough to empty himself of his divinity to enter into our world, To suffer and die for us in order to save us.As followers of Christ, we too are called to this same humility, to empty ourselves to enterinto the lives of brothers and sisters. Suffer with them in order to draw them to God.Are you up to the challenge? That's our prayer for today.Support the show
