Panséxual, Biséxual, and etc. How do we describe genders?
from The Uncomfortable Truth Podcast with Cane and Mitch · host Crimson Bros Network
Panséxuality is a séxual orientation where a person feels attraction to others regardless of their gender. This inclusive approach means that panséxual people are open to connections with individuals across the gender spectrum, including those who are male, female, nonbinary, genderqueer, or any other gender identity. Unlike biséxuality, which traditionally implies attraction to "two or more genders" (often interpreted as male and female, though biséxuality can also encompass nonbinary people), panséxuality explicitly highlights that gender is not a factor in attraction. The distinction between panséxuality and biséxuality can be subtle and often overlaps, as many biséxual people also embrace a flexible and inclusive view of gender. However, panséxual individuals specifically identify with an orientation that is consciously inclusive of all gender identities, emphasizing that their attraction is to people as individuals, independent of gender.
