Panthers Pursue Recognition in the NFL Top 100

The Carolina Panthers are optimistic that their recent NFC South division title and playoff appearance will lead to better representation on the NFL Top 100 list. After failing to have a single player ranked for the past two years, the team now features strong candidates like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, and rookie standout Tetairoa McMillan. The article reflects on the franchise's historical presence on the list, highlighting the 2016 season when eight players were honored following a Super Bowl run. New high-profile additions from free agency further increase the likelihood of the team breaking its current dry spell. This annual ranking is unique because it is determined solely by votes from active players across the league. The official rollout of the newest list begins this week, with reveals continuing through early September.
