Panthers Secure 2026 Rookie Class

On the eve of their rookie minicamp in May 2026, the Carolina Panthers officially reached contract agreements with six out of seven members of their latest draft class. Top selections such as tackle Monroe Freeling and receiver Chris Brazzell II signed four-year deals, while second-round pick Lee Hunter remains the only unsigned draftee. To accommodate these new additions and ten undrafted free agents, the organization adjusted its roster by releasing linebacker Jacoby Windmon. Beyond contract news, the team is currently conducting voluntary offseason workouts involving veteran players and has recently secured a fifth-year option for quarterback Bryce Young. These updates reflect a busy period of roster management as the franchise prepares for the upcoming season under head coach Dave Canales.
