Paper Heartt

Wrote this a few years back after watching 50 Days of Summer. We're built on bricks to withstand the weather But the weather we're in is too strong We're drawn with ink to withstand erasers But not to be torn apart We fight to live but then live and die We start, then stop, then start The lock we're in is paper thin Just like a paper heart We fall into a deep recession Wondering now where we are I look to your eyes to see in your smile If something has fallen apart We fight to live but then live and die We start, then stop, then start The lock we're in is paper thin Just like a paper heart
