Paper View Episode 37 - Suppression & Subversion

from Paper View · host Daniel Ford

In this episode, I look at examples of supression and subversion. Silicon Valley is an example of suppression as it is a source for many people of information through social media while suppressing information challenging the official narrative of everything. A former Google employee has launched a scathing attack on Silicon Valley giants. I cover this story and explain the bigger picture to these internet giants' actions. Social media claims to be about sharing information and an open space for free expression, when it's actually about subverting freedom of expression in ways I explain. The FA, the football association in England, have unveiled an initiative for silent football matches for kids playing football. This is all about suppression and I explain why. Artificial sweeteners have been found to cause various health problems. I have been aware of this for 10 years now and it's great to see it mentioned in the mainstream media at last. Artificial sweeteners are another example of suppression. Russia has been blamed for communicating 'fake news'. More demonisation of Russia. I explain why the focus on fake news is a tool for suppression and subversion. Here’s the clip of Gary Neville I mention in the episode: https://youtu.be/d7qvo9BlWp8?t=305

Ukraine - History in the Making Emil Juhler When I started the conversation series ”Ukraine - History in the Making” I could have never imagined where this journey would lead me. It all started in March 2023 after I got home from an exchange stay in Chile and felt, that I had to do more for Ukraine, than what I did on my social media accounts and on the streets in the spring and summer of 2022.
