Parable Of The Talents- Episode 1

Many thanks to D'Nique for commissioning this episode! I'm so excited to be starting the next book in the Parables series, and this one looks like it's going to be a doozy. While this book includes lots of journal entries by Lauren Olamina, the POV character of the last book, it's framed around the thoughts and feelings of Lauren's daughter (whose name I don't think we've even learned yet). Lauren's daughter seems to despise and distrust her mother in a way that only someone's child can hate them, with the familiarity that bred contempt. Apparently a lot has changed since Lauren's entries were written, and there's been quite a bit of growth in the Earthseed community. I really enjoyed these chapters and I'm super curious what happened to Lauren to make her daughter hate her the way she does. Stay tuned for new episodes!
