Parables // The Parable of the Seed

This morning Pastor Jimmy wrapped up the Parables series and in this parable from John 12, Jesus is saying if we are truly going to live, we have to be willing to die. The seed that dies bears much fruit. "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose." – Galatians 2:20-21We can't rule and reign over our own lives. King Jesus is inviting us to lay everything down and completely surrender with nothing held back in order to follow Him and make Him the Lord of our lives.
